Panna Cotta in Chocolate Cup



Luscious chocolate dessert tastes heavenly and easy to make

 


Serves: 1                                                                                          
Cooking Temperature:  85 degrees                        
Serving Temperature:  0 to 5 c
Cooking Time: 9 minutes
Prep Time: 7 minutes
Total Time:16 minutes

Ingredients:
Dark chocolate for cup :1/2 cup
Unflavored gelatin: 1 teaspoon
Cold water: 2 tablespoons
Heavy cream: ½ cup
Half and half cream: ½ cup
Sugar: ½ cup
Vanilla extract: 2 drops


Preparation Method:

In a very small saucepan sprinkle gelatin over water and let stand about 1 minute to soften. Heat gelatin mixture over low heat until gelatin is dissolved and remove pan from heat.

In a large saucepan bring cream, half and half cream and sugar just to a boil over moderately high heat, stirring. Remove pan from heat and stir in gelatin mixture and vanilla extract. Divide cream mixture among eight ½ chocolate cups and cool to room temperature.

Chill cups, keep covered at least 4 hours or overnight. Dip cups 1 at a time, into a bowl of hot water for 3 seconds. Run a thin knife around the edge of each cup and invert the cup onto the centre of a small plate
